Access Control Module

The Auto:Time Access module brings access control functionalilty to the Auto:Time Software package.

This allows for one solution to provide both time & attendance and access control options, without the need for additional software and eliminates the need to setup employees on two seperate systems.  Once an employee has been added to the Personnel module, they can use both options immediately, if authorised to do so.

The access control module can hold up to sixteen templates, each template having 10 time zones.  It is commonplace for employees to start & finish work at different times, especially with shift work, therefore templates can be created to suit their requirements and thus only allowing access when necessary.  In addition, templates can be created to exclude weekends or days when employees do not normally work.

It is also possible on multi-access sites, to restrict access through individual doors.  This may be the case in a secure area, where only authorised employees are allowed through.  Other employees may still be able to enter through building entrances  & exits, but would be denied access to restricted areas.
